Education: 

    "I am a Nashville Native who loves to create and explore new style’s with my guest. I received my Cosmetology License in my hometown from Image Maker Beauty Institute in February of 2017. I have taken many continued education classes from attending hair shows in Nashville along with specialized courses throughout my career. At my previous work, Salon Yaya, some of these educational classes were with Redken and Pureology stylist such as Artist Teresa Mockler, Nanette Guild, Adina Doss, Noah Woehrel, and many more educators! While engaging in these classes, I have also learned various styling, cutting, and coloring techniques to advance my knowledge to provide my guest with the latest trends. Not only is hair one of many passions but I am also a Make-up Artist as well! Taking advanced make-up classes with Lancôme during my time in Cosmetology School, I can achieve a whole new look designed for my guest for an evening night out to a simple soft glam. What Inspired me to pursue a career in cosmetology: 

    “I have always been a big sucker for style and expressing one’s self. It started with watching and helping my mother and sister with beatifying themselves, applying make-up and styling their hair. As I got older, I began to experiment with not only different hair styles but also with color and make-up on myself. Helping my family and friends with their hair gave me a spark to continue down this career path. While my sister was attending art school, I would assist her on photo shoots by styling the hair and applying make-up for her models. I have attended various conventions over the years, and it has given me not only new knowledge but also new creative inspiration. I view hair like a painter views their canvas, a new scape to make something creative and beautiful. I feel ecstatic knowing that I can make a guest feel exceptional in my chair and confident walking out the door.”
